I am such a terrible blogger. It's been ages since my last post and to be honest, I don't know that I have a very good reason for it!
I've been feeling a little flat and unmotivated with respect to my business, mainly as I wasn't sure where I was going to take it. For a while there I was seriously considering putting all of my stock on Ebay and just cutting my losses.
And then came Fairy Floss Markets!
My first market with Kirsty the Fairy Floss organiser was in Williamstwon. Just when I was questioning the viability of my business, I received really positive feedback from the customers at the market. I didn't sell a lot of stock, but that didn't matter to me... I had confirmation that my product was beautiful and reasonably priced!
Fast forward to last week when I was madly making more rugs for my debut at the Berwick Fairy Floss Market... 7 rugs made within 24hrs and lots more encouraging and positive feedback from customers. Over night my Facebook page jumped in the number of 'Likers' and views.
I'm reinvigorated all over again and searching out some beautiful fabrics for my rugs.
With 2 custom orders on the go and stock to make in readiness for the Geelong Fairy Floss Market in April, it seems like it's all systems go, full steam ahead (you choose your metaphor).
